Renshi Ray Owles - 6th Degree Black Belt
Renshi Ray Owles has over 34 years of experience in the martial arts. He holds the rank of 6th Degree Black Belt (Rokudan) in Okinawan Shorin-Ryu Karate and 4th Degree Black Belt (Yondan) in Okinawan Kobudo (Traditional Weapons). Renshi Owles has owned and operated Owles' Karate in Pearland, TX since 2008. Always a student, he also travels several times a year to teach alongside, and train under, some of the world’s top ranked Okinawan Karate Masters.
Sensei Phyllis Omo - 4th Degree Black Belt
Sensei Phyllis Omo has over 18 years of experience in the martial arts.
She holds the rank of 4th Degree Black Belt (Yondan) in Okinawan Shorin-Ryu Karate and 3rd Degree Black Belt (Sandan) in Kobudo (Traditional Weapons). Sensei Omo also holds a Black Belt in a blended style of American Karate/Tae Kwon Do/Chin-na and a Brown Sash in South American/Muay Thai Kickboxing. She dedicates time to studying White Crane fighting techniques and attends training camps regularly to learn from some of the best instructors in America.
